Example: what a team of 5 pays

Here is a worked example for five mailboxes migrating from an old mail system. Licence figures use the vendor prices from our comparison guide: Zoho Mail Lite at KES 90 per user per month, Google Workspace Business Starter at about KES 1,180, and Microsoft 365 Business Basic at about KES 900, converted at KES 145.5 per euro and KES 129 per US dollar.

The example excludes the small administrative fee if you choose Studio6 managed billing, and uses vendor prices as of 31 October 2026. Zoho Mail Lite is billed annually, and Google and Microsoft prices vary with commitment terms.

How Licence Billing Works: You Keep Ownership

You have two ways to pay for your software, and you keep your accounts either way:

• Direct billing (recommended): you pay the vendors directly with your own company cards or local billing methods. You keep total ownership of your accounts and subscriptions, and Studio6 only invoices you for the setup, migration and support services vendors don’t provide.
• Managed billing: if your finance team prefers a single local invoice in Kenya shillings, Studio6 can manage your vendor licensing for a small administrative handling fee.

Google Workspace is priced in euros and Microsoft 365 in US dollars. You can pay with M-Pesa Global or a Mastercard or Visa card, and exchange rates and card fees apply.
